No other childcare or early learning centre in Sydney offers this unique educational program, complete with excursions and VIP personal encounters with animals.
Sydney Zoo’s exciting, safari-like setting is a place of wonder and amazement with so many incredible learning opportunities for your little one, to interact, explore, imagine.
And with the zoo located in our Blacktown neighbourhood, it’s just a short drive from our little village!
Our exclusive Sydney Zoo age-appropriate programs
We are very lucky to offer our VIP Behind the Scenes and animal encounters, exclusive to Grace Village Early Learning.
Our regular, age-appropriate zoo program teaches children about natural habitat and wildlife, caring for the environment, sustainability, and aboriginal culture.
For the 2-5year olds, Puggletime at the Zoo Program
Our 2-5-year-old Grace Villagers travel by bus to Sydney Zoo, twice a year for themed Storytime, craft activities and lots of animal encounters.
The program includes patting a wombat from the book, Diary of a Wombat, pretending to explore the African Grasslands or South East Asia and meeting the rhino, giraffe, and zebra in our VIP Behind the Scenes.
Our VIP show times involve face painting, dancing to Aboriginal songs and Australian animal encounters.
For the under 2-year olds, Puggletime Mobile Zoo Program
Sydney Zoo comes to our little village twice a year to give our tiny humans the opportunity to get up close and interact with the animals under close supervision.
The littlest villagers will see and touch the animals that live on the ground, the lizards, snakes and insects, the forest animals like the possums and stick insects, as well as aquatic little animals, the turtles and the frogs.
We also learn about Aboriginal culture with dancing, singing and Australian animals.
Zoos and education
Way beyond the laughs and thrills, zoos provide many incredible learning opportunities. They spark curiosity and allow children to explore in a setting that satisfies all learning styles.
At the zoo, children make new discoveries about the world and themselves – what they like/dislike, setting aside any fears, all packed with fun facts. Come with us, adventure calls and we can’t wait.
